Actor Paul Burke was a familiar face on television and in the movies.
Burke, who died a year ago at 83, played Det. Adam Flint in the early 1960s TV drama ‘Naked City’ and later starred as a World War II Army Air Forces colonel in the action-adventure series ‘Twelve O’Clock High.’
‘Naked City,’ Times television critic Cecil Smith once wrote, ‘took the police show and gave it a dignity and compassion that at times approached high tragedy.’
