A cheap piece of wire or ‘a beautifully fashioned aluminum rod’? Maybe the description of the No-Stretch Car Door Opener — to save you from that brutal task of leaning over to unlock the passenger side — was a bit of an exaggeration. But today, with used cars described as ‘pre-owned vehicles,’ this humble piece of metal would have its own infomercial and be called a ‘system.’
