In celebration of Earth Day -- Wednesday, April 22, in case you don’t have it marked on your calendar -- Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market plans to give away free canvas bags to customers on that day when they spend $10 or more.
The grocery store chain, a division of Tesco, one of the world’s largest retailers, figures a reusable bag giveaway promotion is a great way to mark the day. It gets people in the company’s grocery stores, and it has a cool environmental theme.
