RNC v DNC: Money where reform is(n’t)

The Republican National Committee touts the $11.4 million that it raised last month -- a record March for any midterm election year, according to the party -- as a measure of public animosity for the Democratic-controlled Congress’ healthcare overhaul agenda.
The Democratic National Committee, claiming but not officially reporting yet that it raised $13 million in March, is touting its reportedly bigger haul as a measure of the public’s support for the president’s agenda.
We missed the tutorial in the metric system, however, which explained that a dollar for the Democrats equals a dollar for healthcare, or that a dollar for Republicans is a buck against the establishment.
