In the interest of equal time, we thought we should bring you a sports reference from the Late Show’s David Letterman.
It’s actually more about Sarah Palin than sports, but here it is:
I thought this was nice, Sarah Palin, John McCain’s running mate, over the weekend she went to Philadelphia and dropped the first puck for the beginning of the NHL season. And I thought well, I bet she probably needed a break, had to get away from reading every newspaper and magazine. … I mean you can tell every now and then that she spends a lot of time in Alaska, because she drops the first puck, then she cuts a hole in the ice and begins to fish.
