Colts may not be sure bet for Andrew Luck anymore

When Indianapolis was winless two weeks ago, the Colts were looking like a shoo-in for acquiring Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck in next April’s draft.

But a win may have cost them a big loss.

The Colts beat Houston, 19-16, Thursday evening and are now tied with the Minnesota Vikings and the St. Louis Rams with two wins apiece.

The first tie-breaker in the NFL draft is strength of schedule, with the team that plays the weakest schedule picking first.

As of right now, the Colts would win the tie-breaker. But there is a chance that the Vikings could finish the next two weeks with a weaker schedule and the Colts may even get a third win when they play a woeful Jacksonville (4-10) team.

Perhaps Colts fans would best be served to cheer against their team for the remainder of the season in order to land some future Luck.
