Boys’ soccer: A battle of the titans out at St. Francis

It may seem like I’ve been covering a lot of Crespi sporting events in the last week, but I can’t help it if the Celts’ boys basketball and soccer teams are in the running for Mission League titles.

Of course, the soccer guys have a little bit of an uphill battle ahead of them, and thats why Coach Rob Kodama is calling tonight’s showdown with St. Francis ‘a must win.’ If St. Francis (18-4-2, 7-0-2) wins this one, the Golden Knights guarantee themselves at least a share of the title. And we all know Crespi (8-4-6, 4-0-4) doesn’t want to share anything.

I just hope there’s more scoring in this meeting. Last time, these two teams played to a 0-0 draw.
