Football: St. Francis’ Riley has offers from USC, UCLA

St. Francis receiver-defensive back Dietrich Riley, set for his junior season, picked up a scholarship offer on Sunday from UCLA Coach Rick Neuheisel, according to St. Francis Coach Jim Bonds.

The previous week, USC Coach Pete Carroll came through with an offer. USC and UCLA figure to go head to head over the next year trying to land Riley.

‘He doesn’t want to make a decision before this season is over,’ Bonds said.

But it’s clear the decision will be USC or UCLA.
