Colony offensive lineman Quayshawn Buckley has committed to Washington State, reports Scout.com. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound quarterback protector decided to go with the Cougars even though Oregon State, Colorado State and Idaho all had offers on the table.
Buckley played a critical role in helping Colony capture two consecutive Central Division titles. The All-CIF standout will join former Colony teammate and friend Daniel Simmons, who is a freshman at Washington State.
Colony, which has won its last three games after losing its first three, takes on Don Lugo at Chino HS tonight.
