Just when Los Angeles Windward seemed ready to take down Campbell Hall in an Olympic League game Saturday night, the Vikings’ experience took over.

Windward took a 50-49 lead with 3:24 left, but Campbell Hall outscored the Wildcats, 20-2, and came away with a 69-52 victory to maintain its domination in league play.

Sophomore Austin McBroom, who helped Campbell Hall win a state Division IV title last season, contributed 24 points, including nine in the fourth quarter. Bryce Brady added 16 points, Keegan Hornbuckle had 14 points and James Johnson 10.

Darius Morris finished with 18 points for Windward, but he was limited to just two points in the second half. Campbell Hall improved to 11-3 overall and 2-0 in league before an overflow crowd at Windward.
