Boys’ basketball: Scoreboard problem delays games

The 9 a.m. start for the Southern Section Division III-A boys’ basketball final between Cerritos Gahr and North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake has been delayed by scoreboard problems. Just before the opening jump ball, both teams were sent back to their benches.

It’s 9:15 a.m. and still no resolution here at the Honda Center. This is not a good development considering there are six games on tap. Maybe the Honda Center will refund the $15 parking fee that it’s charging fans.
