Boys’ basketball: Santa Monica leads Dominguez

Santa Monica is holding a 30-29 halftime lead over Compton Dominguez in a first-round Division I Southern California regional playoff game at Dominguez.

Danilo Toskovic and Jerome Hatchett have seven points apiece for the 12th-seeded Vikings, who overcame an early seven-point deficit.

Myron Green has 12 points for Dominguez, which has had to contend with a full-court press and Santa Monica’s continual shuttling of players in and out of the game.
