Football: Scroggins’ third TD pass puts Lakewood ahead

Jesse Scroggins’ third touchdown pass of the night has given Lakewood a 27-22 lead over Crenshaw with 8:05 left in the game.

Scroggins passed 15 yards to Chris Davis, who caught his second TD.

Ryan Cummings came up with his second turnover of the night, recovering a Marquis Thompson fumble on the Crenshaw 20.

Lakewood picked up two holding penalties, but Scroggins found Davis in the end zone.
