Josh Williamson, the starting quarterback at Los Angeles Dorsey as a sophomore, has returned to the school for his senior year and is trying to regain the starting position.

Williamson left Dorsey last season for Los Angeles Cathedral but rarely played. Then he transferred to Los Angeles Crenshaw in the spring and returned to Dorsey last month.

‘He was kind of remorseful,’ Dorsey Coach Paul Knox said.

Williamson’s last-minute departure last season ‘devastated us,’ Knox said.

If Williamson returns to his sophomore form, Dorsey figures to be the prime challenger to Crenshaw in the Coliseum League.
