Mater Dei withstood a furious fourth-quarter comeback by Berkeley to win the state Division 1 championship, 59-47, at Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento.

Berkeley trailed 46-30 going into the fourth quarter but pulled to within 49-46 on a basket by Khristina Hunter with 2:55 left.
