2 More Years of ‘Here’s Johnny’

NEW YORK — Johnny Carson will be around to tuck America in for at least two more years. The host of NBC’s “Tonight Show” has signed a multiyear contract, the network announced today.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but a network source said the deal was for two years. Carson’s previous contract was to run out this fall. His late-night reign began in 1962.
