ARF 2--For those of you who saw the musical movie “Annie” and were awaiting the non-musical sequel “The Perils of Annie,” before Rastar Productions called it off, here’s what our sources say that you missed:
It’s Annie vs. the Third Reich. Daddy Warbucks is kidnaped and Annie is disinherited, courtesy of the FBI. The Feds actually believe that Warbucks has gone over to the Reds. Actually, he was kidnaped by the Nazis, and Annie sets out from New York to South Carolina to find him.
“The little redhead and her faithful four-legged sidekick would have, of course, had many exciting and humorous adventures along the way before she brilliantly succeeded in rescuing Daddy Warbucks,” says one source.
The better news is that a TV-movie deal may be made.
