On behalf of all of the ethical, hardworking lawyers in Los Angeles County, I applaud Peter M. Appleton for his response to your article (April 21) which unjustifiably blasted the legal community.
I, too, upon reading the article was immediately struck by the irresponsibility of The Times headlining the article “Lawyers Blamed for Costly Delays” when only 20% of the article actually pertained to lawyers.
