Multimedia said Cooke won a restraining order.

The company reported that Jack Kent Cooke had obtained an order in state court in South Carolina restraining further activities in its pending recapitalization plan until the court hears Cooke’s request for a preliminary injunction June 3. Multimedia said it, along with other named defendants, will appear and vigorously contest the order at the hearing June 3. The company added that pending that hearing, the temporary restraining order will not interfere with any of the company’s anticipated activities.
