KICKING YOUTH

Who the hell cares what grades are assigned to this summer’s movies by a bunch of “selected” high school kids (“What Films Will Make the Grade With Teenagers?,” by John Horn and Alex Raksin, May 19)?

Hollywood’s pandering to the young, moronic masses has already lowered the average movie to the level of a music video. Why does The Times insist on joining--or perhaps aiding and abetting is a better phrase--the movie moguls in their idiotic youth kick?
