Congregational Library of 1985

The Church and Synagogue Library Assn. has named the Blumenthal Library of Sinai Temple in Westwood as the nation’s outstanding congregational library for this year.
The library includes 12,000 volumes, including works in Hebrew and Yiddish. Its works range from texts and scholarly works to novels of Jewish interest and Jewish humor, and it serves temple members from nursery school age to senior citizens.
