MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins have set aside a family section at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome where the sale and consumption of beer are prohibited.
The section is along the third base line, in the second deck.
“This is a trend that is starting to happen with other ball clubs, stadiums and sports across the country,” said Don Schiel, vice president of marketing for the Twins.
Tickets for the section are $7 for regular games and $6 on eight designated “family dates,” Schiel said.
