Commodore International reported more layoffs.

The troubled personal computer firm, which had already slashed its work force by 43% to about 3,800, said it will cut worldwide employment by another 15% to 3,100. The latest cutbacks will be accomplished by layoffs and attrition, the West Chester, Pa.-based company said. Commodore dominates the market for inexpensive home computers, which has been the hardest-hit segment in the current computer slump.
