Paul Hornung is seeking $3 million from the NCAA because it refused to allow the former football player to be a commentator for college games in 1982 and 1983.
Hornung, 49, filed the lawsuit against the NCAA three years ago. The trial began Tuesday in Jefferson Circuit Court in Kentucky and is expected to last a week.
