Child Effort Slated by SMC
The Sales and Marketing Council of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties recently instituted a drive to help return missing children to their families, becoming the first real estate trade organization involved in the nationwide crusade.
The affiliate of the Building Industry Assn. and its members will be provided with office displays and handouts by the California Foundation for the Protection of Children. Several major developers, including DIXCO of Los Angeles and GLENFED Development of Encino, already have pledged their support.
Developers interested in joining in the crusade may write to P. O. Box 614, Encino, Calif. 91426, or call toll free 800/325-1986.
