JERUSALEM — Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinian guerrillas Tuesday in a clash near the southeastern Lebanese town of Hasbaiyah, a military spokesman said.
He said that Soviet-made Kalashnikov rifles and explosives were found near the bodies 11 miles north of the Israeli border.
Israel officially withdrew from Lebanon in June but maintains a self-declared security zone in south Lebanon.
