The Beverly Wilshire Hotel may be sold.

A spokesman for Hong Kong-based Regent International Hotels said the company is negotiating to buy the 57-year-old hotel from a group headed by hotelier Hernando Courtright, who bought the world-famous hotel in 1961. The Regent spokesman said the company, which owns 12 luxury hotels and resorts around the world, expects to reach an agreement soon.
