Sym-Tek Systems reported a 10% drop in earnings, to $259,000, for the second quarter ended Sept. 30, on revenues of $6.6 million, down 25%. Six-months’ earnings remained ahead of the prior year, increasing 38% to $642,000 on sales of $15.2 million, up 5%.
Ray Twigg, president of the environmental test equipment firm, said that he is “cautiously optimistic” that business will improve because “conditions in the domestic market appear to be stabilizing.”
