Fire Damages Frontiere Home

Flames erupted in the living room of the Malibu beach house of Los Angeles Rams owner Georgia Frontiere early today, causing $200,000 damage before being extinguished, authorities said. No one was inside the Broad Beach house at the time.
A malfunctioning water heater may have touched off the blaze, which was reported by a neighbor at 2 a.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department said. The blaze, which was confined to the living room and entryway, is under investigation.
