Chapman Player Earns Volleyball Honor

Pam Winokur, a senior outside hitter from Chapman College, was named to the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. volleyball team.

Senior middle blocker Brenda Read was a second-team pick. Heather Hafner of No. 1 Cal State Northridge was named the CCAA’s most valuable player.

The all-conference teams:

First Team--Heather Hafner (CS Northridge); Pam Winokur (Chapman); Shelli Mosby (CS Northridge); Clara Piersma (CP Pomona); Terri Dantuma (CP Pomona); Anne Kniss (UC Riverside), and Karen Jackson (UC Riverside).

Second Team--Brenda Read (Chapman); Melanie Jones (UC Riverside); Karel Davis (CP Pomona); Peggy Baker (CP Pomona); Karen Contra (CS Northridge), and Anna Garcia (CS Northridge).
