Westwood : Israeli to Visit Campus

Elad Peled, professor of education at Ben-Gurion University and co-founder of the Israeli Military Academy, will visit Los Angeles Monday and Tuesday to participate in Ben-Gurion University’s desert research exchange program with UCLA.
The objective of the program is to encourage academic cooperation between the schools and to share their research findings in desert agriculture and living. It provides for annual exchanges of scholars between the universities.
Prof. Sam Aroni of the UCLA Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning is chairman of projects under the five-year agreement.
