Camarillo-based Vitesse Electronics hired Leonard E. Hughes as vice president of operations for its digital products division. He will be in charge of engineering, manufacturing and quality control for the company’s mini-supercomputers. Hughes, who has a doctorate in nuclear physics, had been president of Encore Computer’s Multimax division.
