2 Slain in Baldwin Park Shooting

Two men were killed today in what sheriff’s deputies said was a gang-related shooting that left one dead at the scene in Baldwin Park. The other victim died two hours later at Queen of the Valley Hospital.
Ronald Martinez, 26, of Pomona and Steven Vera, 23, of El Monte were standing on a Baldwin Park street corner early in the morning, Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Fitzsimmons said, when they were shot, for unknown reasons. There are no suspects in custody.
