A Long Drive

I’m sure this is just one of hundreds of letters you will get telling Jane Wilkie (Dec. 8) that she was promised one hell of a drive from the Kona Coast (on the Big Island of Hawaii) to the Royal Kaanapali golf course on Maui.
I assume that she actually was in a hotel in the Kahului-Wailuku area where the major airport for Maui is, across the island from the Kaanapali area. Even from there, transportation is not as difficult to arrange as she makes it out to be.
