Rail Crossings Need Improving

After reading the article “Bumpy Rail Crossings Rattle La Mirada” (Southeast/Long Beach sections, Jan. 23), I was very happy to know someone is doing something about those annoying bumpy railroads. It would be nice if the rubberized pads were put in Downey.
In these changing times, it seems imperative for them to be installed. As more people start to drive, the railroads (crossings) are bound to get worse and more dangerous.
Thank you for the information about railroads in this county.
