Man Stabbed to Death: The body of a Placentia man who had been stabbed in the chest was found in the doorway of his Santa Fe Street home Thursday night. Juan Martinez, 50, was stabbed four times, Lt. Daryll Phomann said. The body of Martinez, who is believed to be an undocumented worker with a wife and son in Mexico, was discovered at about 6:40 p.m. by a neighbor. Police are seeking a man seen walking with Martinez earlier. A knife was found in a nearby trash can, but it’s not clear whether it was the weapon, Phomann said.
