Miller, Cooper Lead USC Women Past ASU

Cheryl Miller and Cynthia Cooper each scored 26 points Friday night to lead USC to an 80-57 victory over Arizona State in a Pac West Conference game at Tempe, Ariz.
Miller hit 11 of 19 shots, Cooper 12 of 20. Miller also had a game-high 14 rebounds plus 3 assists, 3 blocked shots and 4 steals.
Arizona State was led by Shamona Mosley with 17 points. She is a junior forward from Fremont High.
USC, rated seventh in the nation, is 21-3 overall and 5-0 in the Pac West. Arizona State is 12-8 and 3-2. USC’s women will face Arizona tonight at Tucson.
