Former heavyweight boxing champion Ken Norton was still listed as serious but stable in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was resting after surgery for injuries suffered in a single-car traffic accident Sunday night.
Norton underwent surgery Monday to repair a skull fracture and broken jaw.
“His condition will be upgraded when he is transferred from the intensive care unit to a private room,” Cedars spokesman Ron Wise said. “We expect him to be hospitalized for about two weeks. I think the outlook is quite good.”
