Fryer and Walton Share Sea View League Honor

Jeff Fryer of Sea View League champion Corona del Mar High School and Bryant Walton of Saddleback were named the league’s co-Most Valuable Players in a vote of the league’s basketball coaches recently.
Fryer averaged 27.8 points per game during the regular season to lead the county in scoring. Walton, who will attend California, was one of only two players to be among the county’s top 20 in scoring, field-goal percentage, rebounding and assists throughout the season.
The all-Sea View League first team--Tod Bearbower (Corona del Mar), Joe Deal (Saddleback), Lasse Glassen (University), Adam Keefe (Woodbridge), Maurice Lee (Newport Harbor), Mike Murphy (Woodbridge) and Coby Naess (Laguna Beach).
The second team--John Alstrom (Newport Harbor), Vince Bryan (Woodbridge), Billy Elfsten and Scott Herdman (Laguna Beach), Kyle Mooney (Estancia), Steve Stolzoff (University) and Sean Turner (Corona del Mar).
