World Bank Post for Brock?

From Reuters

Labor Secretary Willam E. Brock III is the Reagan Administration’s preferred choice for World Bank president, a White House official said today.

“Brock is the leading contender,” said the official, who spoke on condition that he was not named. He acknowledged that Brock “has resisted taking the job,” but said that nonetheless, he is expected to be offered the post formally in the next two or three weeks. Senior Administration officials say they want to announce a successor to outgoing president Tom Clausen early next month.
