Oxley Is Winner of Scratch Main Again

Brad Oxley of San Clemente won the scratch main event Friday night at the weekly speedway motorcycle racing at the Orange County Fairground in Costa Mesa before 5,933 spectators.
Oxley is the first two-time winner of the scratch main event this season. He also won four weeks ago.
Defending U.S. champion Alan Christian of Huntington Beach finished second, and Sam Ermolenko of Cypress finished third. John Cook was fourth.
Ermolenko defeated Cook in the feature match race.
