Congratulations on the very fine letter Miv Schaaf wrote to Mikhail Gorbachev. Congratulations, also, for her courage in publishing her letter and giving many peace-loving men and women some reason for a bit of encouragement in these dark days.
Her letter must have given Gorbachev some measure of encouragement, too, for he must be in a state of gloom most of the time over the recalcitrance and vicious stupidity of his U. S. counterpart.
