Champ Dies--Three-time national lawn bowling pairs champion Arnold White, 66, a member of the Long Beach and Recreation Park lawn bowling clubs, died of a heart attack Friday while in Santa Barbara preparing to participate in the U.S. Pairs Southwest Division Championships. White represented the United States at the World Lawn Bowling Championships three times.
