Magna Charta Copy Starts National Tour in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — Encased in a bulletproof, waterproof, bombproof and climate-controlled case, one of four surviving copies of the Magna Charta was placed on display Friday at the Oregon Historical Society in preparation for a national tour that officials said would run through Nov. 4.
