Hart Wins First Game of Pony World Series

The Hart Pony All-Star baseball team won its first game at the Pony World Series in Washington, Pa., defeating Del City Okla., on Thursday, 4-1.
Jason Malone’s two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning supported the pitching of Robbie Davis and Darin Tsukashima as Hart improved its record to 11-1.
Hart, a team of 13- and 14-year-olds from the Santa Clarita Valley, will play Hagerstown, Md., on Saturday in the eight-team double-elimination tournament.
