Priscilla C. Grew, appointed by former Gov. Edmund G. Brown Jr. to the Public Utilities Commission, said she will step down Nov. 1 after nearly six years on the PUC to become director of the Minnesota Geological Survey.
Her term is scheduled to end Dec. 31, as is that of another Brown appointee, former Democratic Assemblyman Victor Calvo. After that, the current commission president, Donald Vial, will be the only Brown appointee still active on the five-member board board. Vial’s second term has two years to run.
