Apparent Murder-Suicide Found

Police this morning found the body of a man who apparently shot his wife to death and then killed himself in the locked bathroom of their Beverlywood home.
A Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team surrounded the house in the 9500 block of Bolton Road, then entered to find the bodies of George Cooper, 62, and his wife Rosemary, age unknown. Their 25-year-old son had reported that his father, distraught over family problems, had armed himself and shot his mother, a police spokesman said.
