Funeral for J.D. Rice Will Be Held Today

Funeral services for J. D. Rice will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Peek Family Colonial Funeral Home, 7801 Bolsa Ave., Westminster.
Rice, the husband of Westminster School District trustee Margie Rice, died Wednesday. He was 62 and had lived in Westminster for the last 30 years. He was a retired business-office manager.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Richard, John, Anita and Robert; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Charles and Cheslie Rice, and a sister, Pauline Robertson.
