John C. Ball, director of corporate strategy for Thermo Electron Corp. in Waltham, Mass., has been named to the board of directors of General Automation in Anaheim.
Ball was elected to fill a newly created seat on the board, increaseing the number of directors to six.
Prior to joining Thermo Electron earlier this year, Ball worked as a financial analyst for several Wall Street investment houses, most recently Paine Webber Inc.
