Would someone please tell me why it was necessary to spend $90,000 on arranging the celebration to turn the first spoonful of Metro Rail dirt?
Was this designed to keep subsequent expenditures in their proper damn-the-cost perspective?
Or was the purpose to show Washington Los Angeles can waste taxpayers’ money with the best of them?
